A young girl decides to fight for the future of the indebted horse farm belonging to her grandmother.
Teenage Mika (Hanna Binke) is excited by the fact that she can spend the next summer with her grandmother (Cornelia Froboess). The girl is happy that she will be near the stable and her beloved horse named Wicher. However, he quickly becomes anxious when he discovers strange wounds on his stomach. No one can explain them. To make matters worse, the stud goes through a financial crisis. Mika decides to take part in the race, the winner of which will win a high prize. The problem, however, is that the horse seems a little distracted. Warm family cinema, which is not lacking in grace and good humor.
